Congratulations on this incredible milestone, dear Sofie! It’s impressive to be celebrating 10 years at Kongeparken, especially at such a young age. What is your best memory from these years?
Some of my fondest memories from the past 10 years are looking back at all the new attractions that have opened in the park. It’s always exciting to test a new ride, food venue, or show. I remember the first day we were trained on Stupet, and it stopped at the top without warning. A bit scary, but luckily, the operators had full control. It took me a few years before I dared to ride Stupet again!
What motivates you and gives you energy at work?
What motivates me the most is working with such amazing people! There are so many different personalities, both among the permanent staff and Eventyrererne. Seeing an Eventyrer grow and develop over the summer is incredibly rewarding. I remember the early days of many who later became Storebjørner, and being part of their journey gives me so much energy!
What is your dream for Kongeparken’s future?
My dream for Kongeparken is for it to be recognized as the
best workplace for young people in Norway! Working at Kongeparken at a young age shapes you for the future, giving you a strong work ethic and lifelong friends.
Lastly – can you share a fun fact about yourself?
I have been doing team gymnastics since I was little and even attended a gymnastics college in Denmark after high school.

Thank you so much for the interview, Sofie – we are all so proud of you and incredibly grateful to have you as part of our team and Kongeparken’s leadership group!
