#MittValg – Party Leaders’ Speech to Graduates

Lund Gruppen Arrangement 

Landstreff Stavanger (LS), Norway's largest festival for 18- and 19-year-olds, is launching the campaign #MittValg ahead of the 2025 festival.

With this initiative, we aim to inspire young people to engage in politics and use their right to vote in the next parliamentary election!


“Through a unique collaboration with Norway’s major political parties, our goal is to increase political participation among young people, especially first-time voters,” says Festival Manager Magnus Lund.


LS serves as an important gathering point for over 15,000 graduating students and a strong voice in youth culture. Through #MittValg, we use our platform to promote civic engagement and ensure that young people gain insight into societal issues, empowering them to make their voices heard at the ballot box.


Each year, we bring together a new cohort of graduates, and with #MyChoice, we will, in collaboration with political representatives across the spectrum, present diverse political perspectives through our channels and direct interactions with youth.


With a digital reach of over 100,000 young people via our LS platforms, we are ready to spotlight political perspectives and inspire more informed choices!

Welcome to Our New Marketing Interns!

We’re excited to welcome Jenny Stav and Christine Fagervoll as new interns in the LGA marketing department!


Jenny is studying marketing at Kristiania University College and brings fresh knowledge and creativity to the team.


Christine is pursuing a bachelor’s in journalism at Kristiania University College and has a sharp eye for compelling content. They will contribute to content production and other exciting marketing tasks in the coming months.


We look forward to having them on the team and seeing the value they will bring to our work. 🎉

Record-breaking results in Bergen, Seljord, and Gjøvik.

Like all divisions at Lund Gruppen, our season has been both rewarding, hectic and filled with numerous achievements! 


Over the past eight months, our team has been hard at work on all our usual festivals and markets, and we’re thrilled to announce record-breaking results in Bergen, Seljord, and Gjøvik.


From our perspective, we have never had a more capable and positive operational team than we do now. We are incredibly proud of everyone’s contributions, especially those who have taken on extra responsibilities to ensure our operations run safely and smoothly.

A Grand Debut by the Norwegian Opera House

LUNDS TIVOLI


This year, we proudly introduced the Opera Ferris Wheel, a stunning new attraction that pays homage to its namesake. Located right next to the magnificent Norwegian Opera House, the wheel offers breathtaking views of both the city and its architectural gem. This landmark launch celebrates the fusion of art, culture, and innovation, giving visitors a unique perspective on Oslo’s vibrant waterfront.

Improved fuel efficiency and enhanced performance.

Our team of drivers was excited to welcome 14 brand-new Scania trucks to our fleet. 

These cutting-edge vehicles have significantly alleviated the challenges faced by our drivers, offering improved fuel efficiency and enhanced performance.

Extreme weather

Global warming has also had an impact on our business. We faced severe flooding while dismantling the Tivoli at Norway Cup, and just a month later, the river overflowed its banks in Drammen. 


Fortunately, we conducted independent and thorough geological research two years ago prior to relocating to our new site in Drammen, so despite the unforeseen circumstances, we were confident that the ground would hold. 


Thankfully, the damage from the flooding was minimal. Less than 24 hours after the photos were taken and safety checks conducted, we were back in operation.

Christmas Time

For Lunds Tivoli, the Christmas season is now the most important time of the year. We´re open at 3 locations in November and December and planning for all three projects begins as early as March. Our outstanding operations team, alongside LGA, has done a remarkable job managing the myriad of details necessary to ensure everything was perfect for the grand opening in Oslo. 



Halloween at Kongeparken – A Huge Success

This year’s Halloween celebration at Kongeparken exceeded all previous events, becoming an enormous success. We created an even scarier and more impressive experience, thanks to our talented actors who brought the scare zones to life with intensity and energy. The atmosphere was electrifying, something our guests truly noticed—feedback on the ambiance was outstanding, and ticket sales hit a record high, a milestone we’re very proud of! This achievement demonstrates how our team has elevated the Halloween experience, creating a memorable evening for all visitors.

We are thrilled to welcome Vibeke, who started as Kongeparken’s new general manager on December 1!

Vibeke, 37, lives in Ålgård and brings extensive experience from both the tourism and oil industries, particularly in service and safety—two areas we greatly value at Kongeparken. Known for her focus on people and quality, her leadership will be an asset to our entire team. With Vibeke on board, we’re confident we’ll continue developing Kongeparken as a leading destination for experiences in Norway.

Preparations for this year’s Christmas celebrations at Kongeparken are well underway. Over 90% of tickets were sold before the opening, and the team has beautifully adorned the park with Christmas trees, lights, figures, decorations, and everything that makes the season special. With years of experience and thoughtful improvements, we hope this year’s Christmas experience is more magical than ever.


Christmas at Kongeparken is a place where families create cherished memories together. We look forward to welcoming even more guests to this enchanting winter wonderland and giving them an unforgettable experience. We are ready to continue spreading true holiday cheer and look forward to a season filled with laughter, magic, and joy for visitors of all ages!


Spökskogen – A Magical Finale

We wrapped up the main season with Spökskogen,
a success in many ways. This year, we delivered a broader and more atmospheric experience to more day visitors and overnight guests than ever before, despite fewer open days and a tighter budget.


Thanks to an outstanding collaboration between team members and departments, Spökskogen 2024 surpassed all previous results. We maintained high guest satisfaction and demonstrated that we can create memorable experiences even with increased visitors. We summarize the season with one guest’s heartfelt feedback:


"To all the talented staff, animal keepers, and actors! We are a big family, aged 2 to 64, who visited you today. THANK YOU for a wonderful day and for all the effort you put into decorating, scaring us, and taking care of us throughout the park. Djurens Jul – The Magic Continues

As the last autumn leaves fell, preparations for Djurens Jul began, and ticket sales hit record levels, with more guests securing their spots compared to last year.

During Djurens Jul, guests are invited to a magical Christmas experience. They help Santa solve the mystery of his overturned sleigh, count and craft Christmas presents, and meet Santa, his elves, and his reindeer. Together with loved ones—and our animals—we create a Christmas celebration filled with magical memories during the Advent weekends and the days between Christmas and New Year.

The 2025 Season – A Strong Start and New Highlights

Alongside Spökskogen and Christmas preparations, we’ve been focusing on planning and budgeting for the 2025 season. As part of our biggest marketing campaign of the year, Black Friday, we launched our own online game, Slice the Bajs. The game engaged guests and offered perks ahead of the campaign, which was highly appreciated. By embracing change and daring to try new things, the outlook for next year already appears very promising!


A Quarter to Celebrate!

This fall also brought us a nomination for the Stora Turismpriset 2024 as the sole candidate from Visit Skåne. Visit Skåne highlighted us for our innovative sustainability efforts and groundbreaking visitor concepts. They describe us as a natural knowledge hub and an inspiring employer for young people starting their careers—Skåne’s leading destination—and look forward to creating even more unforgettable experiences.


The fall of 2024 has been a time filled with hard work, success, and magical moments. Now, we embrace the Christmas celebrations and prepare for the 2025 season. A big thank you to all employees and partners who made this possible—together, we create magic!
